Pick your brand and model. If your phone has no eSIM, don't worry — there is a way to use eSIM plans in it anyway.
No eSIM slot? Your phone can still run eSIM plans.
The eSIMMate Card is a rewritable eSIM card. Install any eSIM profile onto it with the eSIMMate App, then use it like a normal SIM — in any phone with a SIM slot. See how it works →
Quick rules of thumb
iPhone: XR / XS and every newer model supports eSIM worldwide. Models sold in mainland China use two physical SIMs instead.
Samsung Galaxy: S20 and newer flagships, Z Flip / Z Fold — eSIM depends on the region of purchase. US and HK models have it; most A-series and China-market models do not.
Google Pixel: Pixel 3 and newer all support eSIM.
Most other Android brands (Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, HONOR, Huawei): usually no eSIM, with a few regional flagship exceptions.
Why this matters
eSIM plans are the fastest way to get mobile data abroad — no shop, no plastic. If your device supports eSIM you can install a plan in minutes with the eSIMMate App. If it doesn't, the rewritable eSIMMate Card gives you the same convenience on any phone.
